  • Of course you can! And to add to it: Make sure you know what your time is worth! A website should bring in value, not become another bill to pay consuming more of your time and money.

Your time has a dollar value. If you're earning $50/hour in your business, spending 40 hours building a website costs you $2,000 in opportunity cost – before factoring in the learning curve, revisions, and ongoing maintenance.

What professional websites deliver: They're optimized for performance, responsive for both Desktop and Mobile devices (Google data shows mobile users abandon websites that take longer than 3 seconds to load), have conversion-focused content, capture attention, and guide visitors to take action.

The bottom line: If our website brings you just one qualified client, it pays for itself. But more importantly, a strategic website becomes a 24/7 sales machine that grows your business while you focus on what you do best.

  • Our subscription requires a commitment of 6 months initially, after which it continues on a monthly basis. You're free to cancel anytime after the initial 6-month period. Please note that if you cancel your subscription, you will not retain ownership of the website.

  • You would need to start a new 6-month agreement to resume services.

  • Early termination before the 6-month period requires payment of the remaining balance to meet the full website cost ($3500), subtracting any payments you've already made.

We prioritize building lasting relationships with clients who share our commitment to long-term partnerships.

  • All invoices include a 7-day grace period for payment. A $25 late fee will be applied to any payment not received within this timeframe. For subscription clients with multiple overdue invoices and extended periods without payment, we reserve the right to terminate the contract, at which point the full website cost becomes due. While we strive to be accommodating and understanding of special circumstances, lack of communication may necessitate these measures to ensure fair compensation for our services.

  • We issue invoices via email through Square, which provides a secure payment portal. Subscription payments require credit or debit cards, and we accept all major card types.

For upfront project payments, e-transfers are available to reduce processing fees.

  • The $100 fee for additional pages is a one-time payment. For example, 2 extra pages, would be a one-time $200 charge and you are done.

  • If requested soon enough, then yes, you get a full refund.

What we mean by "soon enough"? Our work process is composed of a Design Phase and a Development Phase. During the Design Phase, we create a design mockup for your review. If you are not satisfied with the design, we will provide a full refund of your initial payment. Once this mockup is approved and we proceed to the Development Phase, all payments become non-refundable.

Beyond that point, any refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

  • The key difference comes down to immediate versus long-term financial considerations.

With our monthly subscription approach, the total cost over time will be higher, but distributed in affordable monthly payments. The upfront payment option covers all design and development costs immediately, making it more economical in the long run since you're not financing these services over time. When deciding between options, consider your available capital and business growth timeline.

If you prefer to minimize initial expenses and value ongoing service, the monthly subscription is ideal. If you don't need ongoing monthly assistance and can handle a larger initial investment, the upfront payment will prove more cost-effective over time.

  • Yes, our subscriptions continue indefinitely. Monthly payments persist after the initial 6-month commitment. Typically, it requires 2-3 years for us to earn the equivalent of a one-time website payment.

For our business model to work, we aim to build client partnerships lasting 5+ years. By that point, your website should be generating well over $150 in monthly value, effectively paying for itself. We trust you'll continue to see the benefits of our ongoing support and services.

  • We don't offer an option to buyout your website and end the subscription. It typically requires 2–3 years (including hosting costs) to match what we would have earned from an upfront project. Our subscription approach only becomes financially viable when clients maintain their relationship for 5+ years. This timeline justifies the delayed revenue structure.

Waiting two years to receive full compensation for each project, only to have the recurring revenue stop, wouldn't support our business structure. From a financial perspective, upfront payment would be more advantageous from the start.

Additionally, stable monthly revenue allows us to avoid constant marketing campaigns just to maintain operations. This gives us the freedom to focus on delivering quality service, enhancing your website, addressing support requests, and managing communications, rather than continuously pursuing new clients.

If clients regularly terminated subscriptions early, we'd face the challenge of constantly replacing that income stream, compromising our service quality.

  • Yes, we offer that option! You can add our comprehensive support and unlimited edits service for $50 monthly. This service also requires a 6-month minimum commitment.

Please note that this service cannot be temporarily suspended or used on an as-needed basis. Should you cancel and later wish to resume, you'll need to begin a new 6-month commitment period.

  • Our standard timeline ranges from 2-3 weeks from initial consultation to site launch, varying based on project complexity and revision requirements.

  • Subscription clients receive website updates as part of their service at no additional charge.

Clients who chose the upfront payment option can enroll in our maintenance program, which requires a 6-month minimum commitment at $50/month and includes regular updates.

  • SEO encompasses both On-page and Off-page strategies. On-page elements focus on website content, performance speed, and accessibility, while Off-page strategies involve external linking and business citations.

Our packages include essential On-page SEO features: optimized load times, accessibility compliance, proper meta tagging, Google Search Console integration, sitemap creation, and quality content development.

For more specialized SEO needs beyond our standard offerings, we maintain a network of trusted specialists we can recommend.

  • We specialize in creating new websites with our custom designs and do not offer modification services for pre-existing websites.

  • Simply send your change requests to kikowebdesigns@gmail.com, and they'll be entered into our ticketing system for prompt handling.

  • No, but you maintain ownership of your domain name and content assets.

  • The domain remains your property. If we registered it on your behalf, we'll transfer ownership to you upon subscription cancellation.
